Articles on: Storage Containers

What should I consider before ordering a storage container?

Ordering storage containers is a fairly simple process (through us at least). Really, we just need to make sure that the size is right for your needs, the container can fit where you need it, which way you want the doors to face, and if you want to place it on the street, driveway, or parking area.

Truck Size For Delivery

If you want to have a container delivered, you should measure the area to make sure that we can fit the truck into the place you need.

Roll Off Style Container

Our roll off trucks need a clearance of 10 feet of width and 13.5 feet of height.

Cargo Style Container

Our cargo style containers need a clearance of 10 feet of width and 11.5 feet of height

Access Doors

We need to load the container up before we leave our yard. We can have the doors face the front of the truck, or the rear of the truck. Once we load the truck/doors and get to your site, we cannot change directions. Please let us know which way you'd like the doors to face at the time of placing the order.

Street or Driveway

If access above fits in your driveway, we recommend driveway dropoffs, if you would like to place it on the street, we can do that as well. Just make sure that you check with your municipality about possible encroachment permits. Each city has different rules, please check yours if you are looking for a street drop.

Room for Doors to Open

Please consider additional room for the doors to swing open, or if you'd like a roll up door, please let us know specifically your preference. If you get the regular storage containers, you need an extra 4 feet of length for the door to fully swing open.
