What happens if I keep my order longer than the initial rental period?
Your rental period is typically between 1-30 days. This timeframe depends on the agreement with the city you are in, and the provider for your service.
You will be informed of your initial rental period at the time of your order, and you can always check your email to confirm. The "pickup date", or "rental through" date is when your initial rental period expires, if you keep the dumpster longer than the initial rental period, you will be charged a daily rental fee until you have it removed.
A couple notes about the daily rental fee. The fee stops on the day you call in. So, for example, if you call in on Monday for pickup, your rental ends on Monday, even though your pickup will most likely be the next day (Tuesday).
Using this same example, if you called in on Monday for a future pickup (i.e. Thursday, your rental will end on Thursday, and you will be billed through the pickup date).
Finally, the rental period includes Saturdays and Sundays. So even though there is no service performed on those days, we do bill through the entire calendar week.
